"Swimming" Lessons...

The kiddos have been taking a few swimming lessons lately...

 's'  has really "immersed" himself...

He's LOVING the water and I am pleased with his improvement!

Good work boy-o!

 'z' is IN the water and that IS a HUGE accomplishment for her...

She has improved as well and that is a VERY good thing!

's', as you can see, LOVES being in the pool!

It's nice to have them do something where they can learn a new skill and have SO much fun at the same time!!

NINE years old today ....

 I don't even know where all the time has gone...

 Her older brother just HAD to tell her about the "birthday bite"...

... of course he HAD to get n on it as well.....

 This was 'z's first time scootin' by herself!

Miss 'g2' was not interested in scootin'...

She just wanted to run amok in the fields some more...

Park Pics...

We are at the Grandparents' house for a few days while our flooring gets done...

So we took the kiddos over to the park...

I'm trying to brush off the cobwebs of the few little things I thought I once knew about 'making' pictures...

Here are a few of my faves...

Let's start with Miss 'z'...

 When I walked into the park and saw this new piece of equipment...

I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do with it!

 Loooove the schwoopy schwirl and how 'z' is right in the heart of it!

And this one of her oh so happy, laughy, smiley, joyful giggly self emerging ...

Terrific colour combo too!

Her red shirt and that periwinkley purple of the schwirl!!!

I do believe I have the PERFECT pp to match!

Can't wait to scrap these pics!

'S's favorite colour is ORANGE...

He was thrilled when he saw this new piece of equipment on the playground!

 He enjoyed climbing ALL over it...

 The 'babez' were RUNNING  all over the place!

The area now has a fence surrounding it so it was the best place for them to run amok!

And they just went for it!

 After a while...

'c' ended up on a swing with Gma...

 But 'g2' just kept right on truckin'!!!

I was getting dizzy watching her burn up lap after lap after lap around the playground and fields! 

That girl wore me out and I wasn't even running!

Babez Love Boxing!

'z' & 's' were Wii Boxing today...

 The babez found it very fascinating!!!

They were riveted to the tv!

Singing Christmas Tree!

Today I was able to attend 's' & 'z' choir performance at the Singing Christmas Tree at our local mall.

It's was tricky getting a pic with BOTH of them in...

But here it is...

 There was a couple right down front who had their heads in the way no matter what angle I tried...

Cookie Time!

In December when Grandma comes to town...

it's tradition to create some delicious cookies!

 'g' brushes the cookies with milk so the pretty sanding sugar will stick!

'z' just smiles awaiting the first batch from the oven...

Sock Advent...

Here's 'z's soc advent for this year...

She needed some new socks...

And I thought this would be a fun way to present them...

Each sock has a small treat in it and is tied with a numbered tag.

It's all held to the door with magnetic hooks and they have yarn strung between them.

Clothes pegs were used to hold each sock to the yarn.

She's looking forward to unwrapping each sock...

And wearing mismatched socks until she gets a pair!

Kiddos Halloween @ School...

These two managed to pull together their own costumes this year!

's' is some kind of spy...looks like he's been in a scary situation!

'z' LOVES her witch costume...and she looks adorable in it too!

Feels good to have them do for themselves.

I think I could get use to more of this kind of thing!

I just had to pop outside for a quick photo opp this morning before they left for school!
