 Hot enough for them to be soaking wet and me NOT having to worry about them freezing their tiny tushies off!

Hot enough for them to be out there for over an hour just enjoying their water play!!!

Piano Players!!

Even though 'g' doesn't take piano lessons, she LOVES to sit down and play us a tune or two...

She now has a partner who loves to do the same thing!

'g2' really enjoys the time she spends with her big sis @ the piano.

It's truly music to my ears!

I think 'g2' started this cup-sitting-spinning-on-a-stick-thing...

...but it kept them both busy for several minutes!

They were running in and out of the kitchen, dropping and then picking up their "cups" and putting them back onto the stick...

Some kind of funny almost 17 month old babez game ...

Don't ask me how it works...

But it worked for them!

The other day 's' & 'z' had gone outside to play after school...

[Gotta squeeze in that outside playtime while we still have the nice weather!]

I couldn't see them and so I went outside to see where they had gone...

I think I kinda like it!

Today we went to Parksville Beach!!!

It took us a while to get organized with everything we'd need...

It was so much work....

BUT SO MUCH FUN TOO!

Socks are Miss 'c's choice for toy of the week...er...day...well...hour... ok... MINUTE!

Getting my blogging DONE early today...

Snapped this pic of the babez this morning as they were busy playing at their toy shelf!

They are most definitely making BIG strides towards walking!
{Yes, pun intended!}
With Miss 'g2' able to stand without any help,
I am certain that Miss 'c' will be doing that any day as well!
Thought I should capture this moment
because once they start walking...

Would you look at that!!!

This red table has been buried under some 'stuff' in the basement for a while...
But now... you can SEE it, it's cleared and ready for any creative endeavor that anyone may want to embark on!
This red table is PROGRESS!!! I know it may not look like much, but it is!
20 minutes a day... bit by bit... box by box.. 20 minutes by 20 minutes...that's all it takes...until it's done!
'z' is enjoying having it back "in play"!
She LOVES to sit and draw, do puzzles, paint, colour...
Oh the list is endless...

Play, play, PLAY TIME!

Open up the toy ottoman and babez can spend quite a while  

in the play, play, PLAY mode!

Babez LOVE making music!

The xylophone is ONE of the favourite instruments to play.

Eat, Play, Learn, Sleep, Grow...repeat!

Babes LOVE to play, play, play...
They PLAY all day and sleep ALL night!!!
When they sleep ALL night they have more ENERGY to PLAY all day!
Playing is how they LEARN and sleeping helps them GROW!
This is the process that we repeatedly repeat!
As for the eating...those are pictures and ramblings
best left for another day!

The best toys...2nd post of the day...

WHY are the favorite "toys" NOT toys???
In this case...bowls! I don't know why I thought to pull them out
of the kitchen cupboard...but I did...now they are kept in the toy chest with the rest of the actual "toys".
Good thing there are 6 of them!
No worries about who has how many....each babe could have their hands full and
there would still be 2 bowls available for whomever decides they want THAT one!
So, just what is it with bowls, boxes, paper bags and the like?
The simplest of things are the most attention holding...go figure!
Here's my proof in pics...as you can see 'g2' has her hands full...





Oh, by the way... they are so very tasty too!
