'C' is for Climbing!!!

Thought I would share Miss 'C's latest milestone!

She's not walking BUT she's CLIMBING!!!

She's figured out how to get up onto the couch via the ottoman!

Let me tell you,

She's pretty pleased with herself...

It makes for a whole different kind of chase now!

So glad to have extra hands to wrangle babez...

Especially this one!

It's not so much the getting into things...

It's the falling off of the couch!

She has NO concept of falling...

Even though she's done it a few times already...

It hasn't stopped her from continuing to climb so I guess she doesn't mind! 

Congratulations on your latest accomplishment Miss 'C'!

The Help Gets Help x2!!!

Snapped my potd EARLY this morning!!!

I walked into the kitchen and saw this...

Every morning 's' is UP and at it!

He clears out the dishwasher and the dry dishes from the sink.

He's a very good help to me!

Looks like this morning he had some extra extra help!!!

It's nice to have help!

Basket Babez

So I go walking with my friend three times a week...

Yesterday as we were returning we passed a home where people had been moving...

They left a few items on the lawn with a FREE sign...

I spied this absolutely beautiful basket so I SCOOPED it up and walked it home!

I wasn't quite sure what I was going to use it for or where it would fit...

but today dh suggested we pop the babez into it!

I hope you've enjoyed this week's 'tour' through some of the bright spots in my garden!

Believe me there are PLENTY of weeds and heaps of imperfection.

It really gets to me..but I decided to focus on the very GOOD thingz this week.

So much of my time is spent with the babez that when I have some time to myself...

I really don't feel like weeding!

I NEED to play!

I am thankful that my garden, despite being semi-neglected...

Still can produce such beautiful and tasty thingz!

It makes me feel very blessed and so much better.

Now that summer is here and I have some extra helping hands,

I hope to be able to get outside for an hour each day.

Perhaps I'll be able to change the not-so-bright-spots into something photo worthy!

Figgy Pudding???

Ok...I have NO idea exactly WHAT Figgy Pudding is...

But we will have figs this year!

I pruned the pear tree this year...

It must have LOVED it because it's totally LOADED now!!!

Good thing everyone in this family enjoys pears!

"Mini Daisies"

This week I thought I would share some 'garden shots'.

I have NO idea what these are called and so I am labeling them as Mini Daisies!!!

So tiny, so pretty, so quaint!

We spent the day at Little Qualicum Cheeseworks Farm!

We started out with a tractor ride to tour the farm and meet the cows!

We returned after the tour was over to say 'hi' and snap a few pics.

We were strolling back and everyone was going at their own pace!

Some of us much slower than others...some of us much faster...

Head Cookies Anyone???

What IS a 'Head Cookie'???

Cookies that are the size of your kiddos heads!!!

Feast your eyes...and NO DROOLING on your keyboard!

I think it's so funny that 'z's Smarties on her cookie look like two eyes, a nose and a mouth! 

So today's potd is...

's' & 'z' with their cookies!
Yes, they had a HUGE entourage of kids following them at school...
Did they share?
Of course they did!

Frainbow...

So 'z' signed up for 'fruit' for her last school class party of the year.

I was trying to think of a variety of colours of fruit that would 'last' on the tray...

When I started cutting and arranging the fruit this morning...

I realized that I could make a rainbow with the fruit!

So I did!!!

It turned out well and 'z' was tickled!!! 

btw...the tray came back empty!

'z' said the kiddos swarmed the tray when the lid came off...

I don't know how many of them actually saw the rainbow...

But that's ok... we did!

Flower Girlz...

Trying to get supper happening and the babez were restless!

Told 'g' to grab the 'double-wide' and load 'em up!

She returned a while later...with beflowered babez!!!

She found a daisy field...rolled them in and let them pick away!

They were thrilled and didn't eat them!!!

Their taste is like nothing that can be found in ANY grocery store!!!

They will taste amazing in... PIE!

Took the babez to the park today to enjoy their first swing!

Miss 'c' does this...

It's her 'Super Cheesie Face' and I think it's too funny and so cute!

'g2' we have LIFTOFF!!!

Miss 'g2' started walking!!!

She's soooooo excited to be up and truckin' around!

She squeals with delight when she makes it a longer distance.

Of course she can still be pretty wobbly at times...

Happened to capture her just PRE-KLUNK!

She recovers quickly and is up and going again immediately!

Way to Go Miss 'g2'.
