Muffin Munchers...

We made 'Black Bottom Banana Cones' today!

It's just a few chocolate chips tossed into the bottom of a flat bottomed ice cream cone...

then you spoon some banana muffin batter in and bake!

The girlz LOVED them!

Yes, they're still in their pj's...

Some days are like that...

It's part of our every day...

Peanut Butter 'Play-Dough'

This is a favorite for ALL wee ones in this house ...

[Big ones too! Shhhh...]

It all starts with some peanut butter, milk powder and agave syrup...

Mix until you get a not-so-sticky consistency...

 It helps to have a couple of eager and adorable assistants...

 Once you've got it 'right'...

Get out some "decorations"...

Cheerios, pretzels, crannies and mini chocolate chips will do just fine...

[you can use whatever you've got!]

 Now... let them CREATE!

 "Snakes" are nice...

A good way to practice hand-eye coordination skills...

 ...and there's lots of surface to 'decorate' too!

 'Snowmen' are also pretty popular...

 This 'play-dough' keeps in the fridge...

Although with all of the nibbling that happens...

 ...it does eventually disappear!

 That's ok...

this home-made peanut butter 'play-dough' is TOTALLY edible!

An added bonus because, not only does it keep them busy...

It's playtime AND snack-time rolled into one!

Tur-Duck-en 101...

We have our BIG Christmas dinner on the 24th...

That let's us relax and enjoy leftovers and the following holidays...

Makes prepping food much easier!

They did pretty well too!

Not as much mess as I was expecting with TWO of them trying it out.

That's a VERY  good thing!

...with our 'Jack-o-lantern' when has fulfilled his Halloween duties.

That's right!

We EAT him!

As you can see, he will provide quite a few meals for us!

Currently part of him is plooping away in the crockpot...

A most delicious smelling pumpkin chili is on tonight's dinner menu!

We spent the day at Little Qualicum Cheeseworks Farm!

We started out with a tractor ride to tour the farm and meet the cows!

We returned after the tour was over to say 'hi' and snap a few pics.

We were strolling back and everyone was going at their own pace!
