Bloomin' Berries!

I was standing in the kitchen the other day and I looked out into the garden...

The usual weeds were SCREAMING at me...

But I also spotted some loverly white strawberry blossoms!!!

Oh they are a site for weed-sore eyes!!!

I was out weeding a few beds last night but didn't get to these...yet...

I know you're not suppose to take pics in bright sunlight...

But I forgot to snap some last night after I finished weeding...

Since the babez were napping I popped out to capture a few while I had the chance!!!

I think it's "Bloomin' Wonderful!!!"

It's good to have to stretch to get what you'd like.

So you've heard the phrases, 

"Chew the fat"

Well the latest craze in the babez world is...

"Chew the block!"

 "Block Chewing" is sweeping the floors in this house!

There's a never-ending supply of blocks and they have NO qualms about being chewed!

You can catch these two chewing up a storm any time of

the morning or afternoon!

They have gone 'chew crazy'!

Guess it might be time for a few more teeth to appear!

So I headed off to my favourite thrift shoppe today because my oldest dd needed some thingz...

When I walked in I was told that today they were having a "Bag Sale"!!!!

Bag sale? Did she say bag sale!!!

But I got a bunch of other clothes that are just for me!

Some of the pants will require a bit of weight loss on my part...

And you'd only know how fast if you were "on deck" with multiples 24/7/365!

Yes they each had a cake, yes we sang Happy Birthday TWICE, yes it was doubly enjoyable!

So Happy Birthday Miss 'c' and Happy Birthday Miss 'g2'!!!

It's the age and stage that the babez are in...

Plus is doesn't help when you have a sister who inadvertently takes a swipe at you now and again..

Poor wee Miss 'c'...

She takes it all "in stride".

Hopefully this age & stage will be done soon...

This isn't my first rodeo... although now there's two cowgirls 'on the range'!

Happy Earth Day Everyone!

Would you look at that!!!

This red table has been buried under some 'stuff' in the basement for a while...
But now... you can SEE it, it's cleared and ready for any creative endeavor that anyone may want to embark on!
This red table is PROGRESS!!! I know it may not look like much, but it is!
20 minutes a day... bit by bit... box by box.. 20 minutes by 20 minutes...that's all it takes...until it's done!
'z' is enjoying having it back "in play"!
She LOVES to sit and draw, do puzzles, paint, colour...
Oh the list is endless...

Family Day...

Today we ALL hopped on the ferry and attended the open house at the 

Vancouver (Langley), British Columbia Temple.

The kids enjoyed the trip.

It was a long day.

Travelling with the babez was ...

...well...

...there's two of them...

...and they missed their naps & cribs.

It's good to get home and I'm going to bed early.

I have recently been resorting/reorganizing/tidying my scrapspace.

I was asked to post a pic of my pegboard...

It's not purdy, it's functional.

I call it "the wall"...

dh calls it "the store"

So I figured why not make it my potd.

This one's for you Ann!

Each peg is sorted into categories and each category has a tag.

I also have a "map" of "the wall".

If I need to find a specific category and my brain/eyes are having

difficulty locating it I can 'consult' the map!

This is what happens when babez don't get something to eat right away when they get out of bed...

This is what happens when you want to change babez diapers BEFORE you get them some Cheerios to eat...

This is what happens when you have to go to the bathroom before YOU need a diaper!!!

Note to self:  Make sure 's' knows there ARE Cheerios on the kitchen table and he can give them some...

that would bring the "morning mayhem" to a quiet close...

This is how 'g2' likes HER bowl of Cheerios...

Despite putting them IN to the bowl and placing it on the floor...

She DUMPS it out, picks the Cheerios off the floor, eats them and then proceeds to flip the bowl and watch it spin, spin, SPIN! 

I think I'll stick with the way I like 'em...

We had company Tuesday and Wednesday...

before my Mom left she bought me some flowers!

 My sister and Mom arranged them and now they are sitting on my dining room table for all...

but particularly ME to enjoy!

Actually it was tea for 8 + the babez!!

Well....the babez didn't have tea...

Auntie Debbie brought 'z' an adorable tea set!

So we 'christened' it today with our company!

Of course we had to don hats as well...

It is "tea" after all!

Several 'spots' of tea were enjoyed and many cookies were munched.

I've been working on this album for my niece and her hubby... I completed it, as much as possible, TODAY! I'd like to get her input on a couple of thingz and then tweak the last few bitz... so glad to have this DONE! Aren't they a GORGEOUS couple?!!! I think so too!!! They celebrated their first anniversary in February! Happy Anniversary Kidz! Here's to many, many, MANY MORE!!!
