Today we...

... went for a stroll to Sidney.

 We went to a few 2nd hand shoppes and had a picnic lunch near the water.

It was absolutely loverly!

I snapped this pic of 'c', Gma & 'g2' on their way back to the van.

Butterfly World...

Today we went there...

 So cool to be in and among them!

 Their colours are amazing!The patterns are just SO intricate... STUNNING!

 The girlz were enthralled! They wanted to catch one BADLY!

 So I thought it best to keep them CONTAINED as much as possible!

 I know....STRANGE angle on this pic!

But... I LOVE this colour on 'z' and when I scrap it, I'll tilt it on the lo.

Love the contrast between her and that black butterfly!

They were SO noisy! Yippin' away at each other...

must have been in a tussle over the food!

 I know, muffed my dof on this shot of 's'... but the bird is kinda cool...

 I rarely get a chance to get the 3 of them snapped together...

Yes, I colour coordinate my kiddos clothing when I know I'll be taking pics.

These greens & blues are just GORGEOUS together!!!

[Makes it SO much easier when it comes time to play with the pictures!!]

So HERE is PROOF...

On the way back from the park today, I found some nice 'open shade' and I thought I might be able to actually DO it this time....

 FORGET IT!

'g' looks terrific,

'c' wants NOTHING to do with it,

'z' has her eyes closed AGAIN!

's' is trying to wrangle 'g2'...

 Ok, so this time...

'g2' & 'z' are looking just fine!

'c' is STILL kicking up a fuss...

and 's' is still trying to get 'g2' to comply...

 'g', 'z' & 's'... pretty good!

'c' still melting down...

'g2' considering complying...

 'g' got her eyes closed [you knew it had to happen eventually... she's been the most consistent so far!]

'z' & 's' alright...

'c' & 'g2' still NOT complying!!!!!

 'g', 'z', & 's' ... looking good!

'c' still wailing...

's' almost has 'g2' looking at the camera....almost....

And then FINALLY 'g2' has had ENOUGH and BAILS!

'c' is almost horizontal at this point...

But the bigguns....

STILL workin' it for the camera!

Everyone LOVES the park!

Slidin' on down!

'g2' discovered her LOVE of sliding today!

You can see she's a bit apprehensive at first...

[Love how her wee tongue is set just so...]

That's Gma helping her at the top...thank you Gma!

I took my "catcher's" position at the bottom...

[plus it's the best spot for taking pictures!]

 But she caught on to this whole thing BEFORE she hits the bottom!

 Just look at that gleeful, twisted smile!

 Oh I think she likes it! She likes it A LOT!!!

 Check out that electrified hair!

 She was SUPER charged by the time she got to the bottom!

I made sure I let her hop OFF the slide onto the ground before I touched her...

Although a couple times I forgot!

We spent a ton of time at the slide today!

Both girlz sliding, climbing & running to start it all over again!

They both LOVED it!

Park Pics...

We are at the Grandparents' house for a few days while our flooring gets done...

So we took the kiddos over to the park...

I'm trying to brush off the cobwebs of the few little things I thought I once knew about 'making' pictures...

Here are a few of my faves...

Let's start with Miss 'z'...

 When I walked into the park and saw this new piece of equipment...

I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to do with it!

 Loooove the schwoopy schwirl and how 'z' is right in the heart of it!

And this one of her oh so happy, laughy, smiley, joyful giggly self emerging ...

Terrific colour combo too!

Her red shirt and that periwinkley purple of the schwirl!!!

I do believe I have the PERFECT pp to match!

Can't wait to scrap these pics!

'S's favorite colour is ORANGE...

He was thrilled when he saw this new piece of equipment on the playground!

 He enjoyed climbing ALL over it...

 The 'babez' were RUNNING  all over the place!

The area now has a fence surrounding it so it was the best place for them to run amok!

And they just went for it!

 After a while...

'c' ended up on a swing with Gma...

 But 'g2' just kept right on truckin'!!!

I was getting dizzy watching her burn up lap after lap after lap around the playground and fields! 

That girl wore me out and I wasn't even running!

We're clearing out EVERYTHING in preparation for some new flooring that is being put down in our main living area...

The babez decided that the book shelf was the PERFECT place for a double decker snooze!

Silly monkeys!

I don't think they are quite ready for bunk beds just yet...
