It happened...

I knew it would eventually happen...

Miss 'c' figured out how to unlock the gate...

So now I use a bandana to tie the gate to the railing...

She has made her way past the gate a few times...

They BOTH have!!!

Where did I find them?

In their room playing!!!

It takes them NO time at all to do it either!

Scared me, especially since there are 13 steps RIGHT THERE!

But I was smart...

As soon as they could walk steadily, I started having them walk to their room from the living room...

for naptime and night time...

So they know the way into their room.

I am certain that this is the reason that they haven't been curious about those stairs...

That and there must be a guardian angel stationed at the top!
Now that the bandana is "in place" they can still unlock the gate,
but they can't move it enough to squiggle through!
